Nestled in the charming village of Carrick, Slieve League Lodge offers a warm and inviting retreat for families and wildlife enthusiasts alike. The quadruple room we stayed in was comfortable and well-equipped, allowing us to relax after exploring the breathtaking Slieve League Cliffs just a short drive away. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service from the bilingual staff, who treated us to a delightful culinary experience at Hegarty's Bar and Restaurant, where local seafood was a standout. If you share a love for nature and authentic Irish hospitality, this family-run establishment, with its connection to the local community and cultural events, should not be missed. I look forward to returning to discover more of Donegal's stunning landscapes, especially with the promise of deep-sea fishing and lively music festivals that the area is renowned for.
